If you know classic east coast/Jersey house music than you will know this for sure. "Definition Of A Track" doesn't have the usual characteristics of you normal house track. Its really no more than a minimal rhythm track but the unusual drums, geeked out bass line and dub elements make it a very distinct part of house music history. This was played by almost everyone when it came out and was often played later in the night when people were all tweaked out. I suppose that's why it was an equal hit at the early UK raves as it was in the house clubs and after hours spots in the US. The way the beats and bass line switch up is just sick. TRUST ME!
